So, now that I've done the great path of prestige, I've had the benefit of seeing where my build was weaker than I would have liked in the past. There's still a couple of powers I want to take just because I like the flavor, but a couple of others just need to go.
The main one on the list is Flames of the Faltine. I loved that power in the past, but the attrition power nerf really just gutted it. I still have a mental power in Deceiver's teleport that can trigger my Doop and Power Cosmic, but I'd prefer to have a more offensive one rather than that spirit hog. Ideally, I'd like to get Mental Orb, but that's going to require getting someone to give me an Onslaught lockout, not something I can count on.
Cable's Psychokinetic Barrier is often touted as a decent filler power, so that may be a good option. But if anyone else has any other good fire and forget mental power, I'd love to hear it. Accursed Beam is the only other one I can think of, and I don't like channeling powers on Rogue.
Next, Seismic Slam. God, I loved that power so much just for the flavor. Rogue above all else is the character I envisioned slamming the ground and just blowing away everything in front of her. But it's slow, requires strength to really get the most out of, and Blood and Thunder just seems to do more damage. I may still grab this next time, just because I love the flavor, even if it's a suboptimal choice, but it's a tough decision since it would be replacing Blood and Thunder, which I've come to really grow fond of.
Finally, the eternal choice... War Machine and Iron Man, or Gamora and Drax? On Paper, WM and IM definitely win out, but it just seems so cookie-cutter. Gamora also feels like she fits better because I'm trying to go Hybrid ranged and Melee, and Drax's +2 Brut is just too nice. My last passive is almost certainly going to be Spider Sense, just because it does so many things well.
Gah, this is the problem with playing Rogue. Too many options!
