I was thinking about my diablo3 days and I remembered fondly this build that take advantaged of a unique loophole to a skill.
The wizard had a skill called "force armour" that make any damage not more than 75% of his health. So some genius thought of a unique loophole - to have as low health as possible and with insane health regen such that every damage taken would decrease his health by 75% and immediately regen back to full.
So the shifting sands passive will lower Rogue health by 50% but increase damage resistance by 30%. I don't know the math behind it so I decided to give it a try with the "Force Armour" theory behind it.
With the new Infinity setup, I was able to put my points in Life on hit and health regen. I also increase base health until after applying the Shifting Sands passive, I was at 18k health.
I use Shield as my legendary to give me more damage resistance.
Strangely, my damage reduction on my cap is only 50k (it is about 120K without the Shifting Sands passive). However, it is working very very well in cosmic content. I feel it is even more tankier than the Suntank build that I was using.
Not sure what you guys think, please let me have your thoughts if I am gimping myself or just being bias in my thinking.
Thank you.
