[Bugs!] Rogue's "Biggest Bugs Ever" Compilation Thread

Player-facing compilation of Rogue Bugs from the "Biggest Update Ever". Please report the bugs to the Hero/Powers Bugs sub-forum, then link your report here so we can track them. Don't just report the bug here, since the devs aren't likely to see it that way.


Powers

  • Call Moloids. Moloid Leaper performs his leap attack, followed by a single punch, then stands waiting for about 5s before repeating the cycle.
  • Crashing Hail. Is unable to place new areas if two are already in play. Instead of replacing the oldest as is usually intended behavior for limiting persistent areas, it simply makes you wait for one to expire naturally. Tooltip also doesn't explicitly say that it should be limiting areas. [bug thread]
  • Curse of Hellfire. Tooltip error. Should be "Mental Base Damage: +10%" instead of "Physical Base Damage: +10%".
  • Electro-Blast. Instead of allowing you to move the persistent area effect by placing a new one and automatically eliminating the old one, you are forced to wait for the old area to disappear before placing a new one.
  • Empowered Shockwave. Is still respecting some of the old toggle passives. Mechanical Genius, Osmium Skin and Shifting Sands Stance allow permanent 8-way attacking without needing an Enhancement power active. Crimson Force Field, which was also a former-toggle, is behaving appropriately. (Edit: This could also be related to toggle states persisting, which was a 1.0 bug that periodically resurfaced back in the day for hilarious abuse possibilities. Which of the four powers this affects could theoretically be different for every player as a result.)
  • Fangs of Farallah. Treats Molecular Transport as a cooldown power, but not other dashes.
  • Five Finger Rogue Punch. The 5s duration is not listed on the tooltip. The attack speed listed is superfluous, since it's a DoT and multiple hits with the power do not stack.
  • Focuse Barrage. Consuming Spirit at a base cost of 20 per second. Assuming the tooltip listed Spirit cost is "per second", that's twice as fast as intended. If cost is "per damage tick", it's half as fast as intended.
  • Ice Golem. Snow Aura is not acting completely like a Summon effect. It gains bonus damage from Area and DoT bonuses instead of Summon bonuses and is able to proc OnHit effects. It still scales properly with the highest of Energy/Mental/Physical Damage Rating like it should.
  • Laser Shift. Seems to be intended to be a Dash (Three 4s charges, Movement, no Spirit cost, etc) but is not tagged Dash nor does it remove crowd control effects.

    The power moves a fixed distance, but the laser animates to the cursor if you target farther than the power reaches.

  • Lavalanche. Is not properly treating enemies as burning. Tested in two different situations using static DoT ticks: one with Electro-Blast and the other with Drain Life while wearing the Blinding Brazier of Balthakk.

  • Lawyer Up. Tooltip lists "+377" for the Damage Rating bonus in two places.
  • Final Form (Ultimate). Is disabling at least some traits, lasting until Rogue changes zones or logs off. Confirmed to affect Bestial Frenzy. Needs more testing.
  • Flight. While wearing Rogue's "Cloak of the Reaper" unique and flying, proccing the Kurt summon proc increases Rogue's flight speed to 1,000 and allows her to perform other actions without interrupting the flight, such as attacking and picking up items.
  • Invisibility. Has a Move Speed bonus of 0%.
  • Knockdown Sweep. Bonus damage while in Stealth or Invisibility does not work.
  • Magnetic Attraction. Orb Radius increase doesn't seem to have any effect. May be related to the fact the power doesn't channel anymore.
  • Mental Devastation. Slow duration (4s) is not listed.
  • Molecular Transport. Astra Power grants +200% damage per stack consumed, except the first. No bonus damage is gained at 1 stack, only +200% damage is gained at 2 stacks, etc. Does not match tooltip wording.
  • Mystic Healing. Does not consume Momentum from Crimson Force Field, despite being a cooldown power that deals physical damage.
  • Plasma Wave. Tooltip error. Should be "Energy Base Damage: +15%" instead of "Physical Base Damage: +15%".
  • Psychic Domination. Power cannot target Robots, Bosses or Summons at all, rather than simply failing to control them. Defeating an enemy with it will always replace your current minion, instead of only dominating a minion if you don't have one. [bug thread] Minions with the Command Aura have no effect on Rogue. The minion's bonus damage is being lost when transitioning to new areas. [bug thread]
  • Psychokinetic Barrier. Tooltip claims Max Areas is 1, but power allows up to 3. Tooltip does not adequately convey that the DoT and Area have independent durations.
  • Pyrotechnic Burst. Tooltip has Melee keyword, but power is actually behaving as a Ranged power in regards to gear and procs. (Old 1.0 bug that never got fixed.)
  • Recall Overload. Periodically fails to deal damage or proc effects if queued during another power's animation.
  • Shadow Strike. Cooldown reduction doesn't seem to be working.
  • Squirrel Friends. Always lasts 30 seconds and is unaffected by Power Duration and Summon Duration. [bug thread]
  • Supersonic Cyclone. Does benefit from bonuses to Damage Over Time powers.
  • Teleportal. Does benefit from bonuses to Damage Over Time powers.
  • Urban Remodeling. Urban Remodeling resets secondary resources from traits to zero when used. [bug thread]

Traits

  • Secondary Resources. The following traits cannot be taken alongside traits with secondary resources: Air Superiority, Level 7 SHIELD Agent, Savate Master, True Friend and Uncanny Luck. [bug thread]
  • Clobberin' Time! Hard Knocks max value is 200, but listed as 100 in the tooltip.
  • Crimson Force Field. Momentum is not spent by Devastating Charge and Mystical Healing. Spending Momentum does not increase the DoT damage of Hell Rides or Tongue Lash.

    Is still providing the invulnerability upon defeat it used to before BUE, but is not listed on the tooltip. (This one has always been extremely problematic even when it was working as intended. It still counts as a defeat in Holo-Sim and Danger Room but doesn't restore your Health, leading to a quick second defeat.)

  • Level 7 SHIELD Agent. Has not been updated for the new Summon damage system. Gives bonuses for Summon Base Damage (predominantly only available through the Infinity system, which is a node that's expected to be removed soon) but not Summon Damage Rating.

  • Memories of a Living Weapon. +10% Crit/Brut bonus does not benefit Recall Overload.
  • Osmium Skin. Granting an unlisted 1,200 Defense and Deflect Rating and -15% Dodge Chance penalty.
  • Photographic Reflexes. Is providing 3% Base Damage per point of Fighting/Durability. Photographic Reflexes tooltip shows the correct percentage for the amount the player should be receiving if all attributes give 1.5%, but the Stats tab and actual damage dealt reflect the extra Fighting/Durability bonus.

    Is also providing the +25% Critical Hit Damage bonus from Southern Brawler, despite intending to replace it. Hovering over Critical Damage Rating in the Stats tab actually shows this as granting +50% Critical Hit Damage (bringing it up to 202% when naked), but damage tests show this is an error and it is still only granting +25% (dealing damage as if at 177% Critical Hit Damage while naked).

  • Reliable Friend. Bonus is gained when you first use a power, then remains seemingly indefinitely (until logging out), even if you remove the trait. I have not tested how this affects the party-scaling mechanic.

  • Symbiotic Bond. Both the passive damage bonus and damage bonus from the Strengthened aura are additive Base Damage bonuses, instead of the multiplicative bonus that is typically implied when the word "Base" is omitted from the tooltip. [Strengthened Aura bug thread]
  • Tyrannical Ambition. Tooltip does not list a duration for the bonuses. Seems to be 10s. Also, the tooltip condition that the powers be "stolen" is no longer accurate. The bonus works with the new Impact and Enhancement tags given to some of her Marvelous Physique powers.
  • Weakpoint Targeting. Tooltip claims to grant Base Damage equal to 4% of your Max Spirit, but in actuality only converts 3% of your Max Spirit.
