Bug with Falcon power?

Hello, not sure who to tag on this so I'm bugging @Asros . I use Colossus' power and when I try to assign Falcon's power at the same time, I get a notice that I can't use two powers that have a second resource bar. But only Colossus' power uses a resource bar, not Falcon's

I'm guessing this is a bug? Anyone else experiencing crashes thisbwith Falcon/Colossus or any other combination?

I just love how freeform it makes gearing and using the infinity system on Rogue.
Selecting gear is just so much simpler when you dont have to worry about getting bonuses to the right stat.

Rogue Summoner Build needs INT as a main Attribute

Is it only me feels like this way? All the summoner ally dam - health - duration items has INT on them so we get no use of those items because they dont have either DUR or FIGHTNING. Can't you make one of her passives with Summoning ally dam to also replace DUR with INT so we can get decent summoner build going on with her?

Is there a list of the Powers Rogue can Borrow/Steal?

I keep seeing specific builds, and discussions of single powers.

Why don't we have a list of the heroes and villains, and the power you get from them? Seems a fairly obvious thing to have in here... or did I miss it?

Hey folks,

We're starting a fresh round of Hero feedback for all Heroes today so that we have the most up-to-date information about what you think of your favorite Heroes after the introduction of Talents & Traits.

If you have time, we'd like to hear your thoughts on the following questions:

  • What are your favorite powers or design aspects of Rogue? What are your least favorite? Is there a particular power that you enjoy using more than any others, or is there a unique playstyle element to Rogue that makes you enjoy them more than other heroes? Are there any powers or Talents that you simply don't like or never use, and if so, why?

  • Do you have any suggestions that you think would make Rogue even more fun to play? The more specific you can be, the better! This can be anything from a change to an existing power, a completely new power or gameplay mechanic, or even cosmetic changes that you just think would look cool!

  • How do you currently allocate your Talents and powers on Rogue? Please be as specific as possible here; is there a particular build you prefer to use over the other options? Feel free to post a screenshot of your favorite Talents & powers setup!

  • Are there any bugs that apply specifically to Rogue that you'd like to report? If there is a specific power, resource mechanic or hero-specific Unique that you have noticed not working as expected for Rogue, please let us know here.

Question about summoner Rogue

I have some doubts about which artifacts to use, currently im using Mole Man's Staff, Orders, A.I.M. Robot Dispenser and Nutso. I wanted to use Nefarious Mask of Doom but it's bugged and i can't reroll or put a bless on it. There are better artifacts out there to use?

As summons I'm using Illusionary Projection (x2), Ice Golem (x1), Call Moloids (x2), Grootling (x1), A.I.M. Death Machines (x2) and Squirrel Friends (x10 but this one does not matter). That make 8 summons, it's ok to fight multiples targets, but to solo a boss, for example, some of them can't attack because there are others in front of them. Am I missing some ranged summons? Because that would be the solution to that problem.

I have 890 spirit but only getting 26.7% bonus damage instead of the expected 35.6%. When I unequip my M'kraan and have 590 spirit, I have 17.7% bonus. It seems that Weakpoint Targetting, the War Machine stolen passive, is only giving 3% damage increase instead of the 4% damage increase as the tooltip states.

@Asros is this a bug? Or wrong info on tooltip?

First build post. Be gentle lol.

Just going to start by saying that I have played every popular/meta Rogue build since she has been released. From the days of the hp stacking Malekith beam to fangs all the way to suntank. I have always loved the versatility of Rogue, and this qol of the steal storage is an amazing way to try out new things that would otherwise be a pain. Because lets be honest, no one wanted to get rid of Mental Orb just to realize later that they miss it and have to full clear Axis again just to steal it.

But I digress.

The point of this post is to acknowledge the potential and fun of this build, while addressing some game breaking bugs that are gimping it.

So the build is based around the K'lrt steal, Fantastic Funnel. Which imo was trash when it first came out due to power points and how many steals it needed just to use while taking up valuable spots needed for passives.
Not gonna go into the gear "needed" for this build because it is still a work in progress and if some of the bugs don't get fixed then it probably wont be worth playing in terms of end game content.

TRAITS and TALENTS

Traits/Passives is where it gets tricky. Currently there is a game breaking (known) bug for the build where some passives can't be used because "YOU MAY ONLY HAVE 1 STOLEN TRAIT WHICH PROVIDES A SECONDARY RESOURCE".

Therefore I am currently using

Clobberin' Time! (Thing)
Gifted Engineer (Shocker)
Photographic Reflexes (TM)

But in a perfect world with no bugs I would replace Photographic Reflexes with Air Superiority(Falcon). Wait what? A movement power buff trait?!?! This brings me to my next complaint about the build. Fantastic Funnel functions the exact same way as Deadpool's "Canadian Devil" as well as Electra's "Cut a Swath", but is currently not blessed with the Movement tag. Until then I will continue to use TM steal and dump all my Infinity points into Attributes.

HOW THE BUILD PLAYS

I start by teleporting in with Teleportal, using Ragin' Cajun then use Curse of Hellfire to put up the AOE as well as get the 10% buff to melee powers. Next, hold down the hotkey for Pyrotechnic Burst (melee tag for some reason) until I get the Overheated buff and can no longer use the ability. After that, it's SPIN TO WIN time with Fantastic Funnel. Enjoying immunity to CC, more dmg, crit and HP regen from Clobberin' Time. Only stopping to put back up the Overheating buff from Pyrotechnic burst and Hellfire. Also throw down that big boy meteor when you need some single target burst. Recall overload when low spirit with Psionic Recall talent to refill as well as using spirit medkit on CD. This, along with the Shocker passive spirit cost reduction for core powers (Pyro burst & Funnel) should be enough to keep spirit up without a problem. Also can spam both stacks of Invisibility for hp and spirit regen if needed. Would be nice if some of these abilities could be used without having to stop channeling Funnel, but I'll take what I can get.

So if you are like me and love using every damage type, this build also benefits from that as long as you use your Teleportal and Recall Overload with Psionic Recall talent.

COMPLAINTS

Other than the issue with bugged traits and movement tags, another personal gripe has nothing to do with gameplay or bugs. This next complaint is based on the audio component of Fantastic Funnel. If any of you have tried it out with all the FF synergies, then you know what I'm talking about. There is the constant THUMP sound when the Molten Mortars come flying out. Yeah I might sound like I'm being a bit petty but listening to this sound for hours is driving me insane lol.

Two more complaints are both with Pyrotechnic Burst. First, the stack amount. Getting to the Overheated buff, you need to obtain 20 stacks of Heating up. Even with a ton of attack speed, this buff takes a bit too long to get to. Simple fix would be to just lower the stack amount to 10 or 15. The other complaint is with the duration of the Overheated buff. Seems like if the buff didn't take so long to obtain then this wouldn't be such a big deal. The buff only lasting 8 seconds is slightly tedious to manage. Simple fix... 12 second buff.

FINAL THOUGHTS

This build is incredibly fun and if some/all of these issues get addressed, then I can see this build being quite viable dmg wise as well as tanky enough for all cosmic zones.

Please leave any feedback about the build. There are tons of synergies on Rogue and I have no doubt that someone out there will think of something that might make this build even better.

Iron Man passive stolen power

I have punched so many iron men now, and for the sake of completion I want the power that shows up when I right click a passive spot, it just says I already have the stolen power. I have tried Iron Men and team ups. Am I missing something?

Rogue is unquestionably the most complex character in all of the Marvel Heroes roster, and only gets more complex as time goes on. With almost every new hero, team-up or villain, she gains a new power with the potential to completely change the way people play her. It's a daunting experience for players picking her up for the first time – experimenting and coming to grips with over 100 different powers. This guide aims to offer a resource that hopefully makes that just a little easier.

When I started this project, it was just going to be a page of forum posts with a few notes on every power. That quickly grew into a Google Doc to contain the massive size of it. That then proved nearly impossible to navigate until the point where nothing short of a dedicated site seemed reasonable for the task. The mini-wiki that came of those efforts can be found below.

For anyone looking for an alternate way of searching powers, I've activated the wiki's tag searching feature here. I haven't quite decided a good way to fully incorporate the feature into the site and it's a bit clunky, so I've just made it a separate page set off to the side for power users for the time being. Leave the "namespace" box blank. You'll most likely want to check the "Use AND" box if you're looking to narrow down a list of powers with a specific criteria.


BUE Status Update

I've been getting the question a few times, so I'll add it here. Yup, I'm working on getting everything back up and running with new data for the Biggest Update Ever. As of right now, every stolen power should now have at least a page and an updated tooltip screenshot. More in-depth thoughts and notes will follow more gradually over time. The meta is completely turned on its head, so there's only so much expertise I can pretend to have or steal from others at the moment.

If you can't stand the notion of living here in the present -- there are after all many reasons to curse the burdens of linear temporal awareness -- I've archived the contents of the pre-BUE guide (http://clockworkbard.com/r2016/) for your nostalgic pleasure. Feel free to comb it for stale insight that hasn't quite gone bad yet or take it with you to your underground vault where you can pretend that 2016 never ended.

Legendary pick?

Picking up a legendary for my Rogue, and am not good at all with theorycrafting..

For powers, went with energy-focused, mostly AOE — almost strictly stolen-based.

So looking at Cosmic Control Rod, which says “Energy” on it a lot, but not sure if something more strictly DPS-focused like Gungnir or Ultimate Nullifier would be better. Thoughts?

I've been experimenting with several different builds, all focused around utilizing all three damage types and using a Power Cosmic as my legendary. I know PC is outdated and probably doesn't hold up to any of the i80 Legs. But I'm stubborn and it's not like I'm trying to create a max DPS build.

General Kl'rt's stolen skill caught my attention. It looked good on paper and seemed to have good synergy with other skills. After awhile I ended up dropping it because it just didn't really wow me in the damage department. What DID stand out was Human Torch's skill (Pyro.....something), it did decent damage and has the potential to raise the damage of everything else. Problem is, it's super spirit intensive. But when I used it with her own Vuln, Ragin' Cajin, and Hell Rides, then pop her sig when I was at max Pyro stacks. I could clear quick enough......in normal difficulty as long as the particular boss didn't have a ton of HP. When I go up to heroic, I don't have the spirit sustain for the longer boss fights of the harder difficulty.

Rogue (in my opinion) has terrible spirit management. Yeah she has Lizard and Star Lord for passives, but that's around 10-12 spirit per second regen. Godly Valor is beyond useless since the spirit regen doesn't scale with Rogue's level. Neither does her own spirit builder basic.

I not even close to using BIS artifacts, so I know DPS is playing an issue here. However, am I chasing an empty dream trying to build around Pyrotechnic Burst? It seems like such a good skill. Or is my issue hanging on to a Power Cosmic, when I should be using a M'Kraan or a different generic damage Leg? I'm open to variations or ideas, just as long as I can use Pyrotechnic Burst, Hell Rides (seriously, this skill is amazballs) and Red Skull's passive (about a 22% damage increase).

I realize this is bugged and taking up the resource slot now but has anyone tested it? I don't have any well geared high damage TU's but it looks interesting. With the TU's now spamming more and having a bigger damage bonus it could be worth it. It could even be really good for stuff like CDR where you kill enemies enough to use the temporary team-up summon option (+200% damage -1s per kill).

Does she keep her full power bank in the current patch once you prestige ?

Really enjoying her, considering prestige but this would be a huge turn off from that if she loses everything.

Basics:

  • Bone Claws: Melee Physical
  • Ricochete Blast: Ranged Energy
  • Lack: Mental.
  • Candidats: Fangs of Faralah and Chaotic Hex

Vulnerability appliers:

  • Crimson Sweep: Melee Physical
  • Weaving Web: Ranged Mental
  • Lack: Energy
  • Candidates: Photonic Wave and Magnetic Atraction

Weaken appliers:

  • Psychokinetic Barier: Ranged, Mental
  • Arcane Torment: Ranged, Mental
  • The Taunt gives it as well but those two also deal dmg.
  • Lack: Energy and Physical
  • Energy Candidates: Venom Blast and Mindless Destruction
  • Physical Candidates: Focused Barrage [the dmg isn't high enough for it's small area] and Empowered Shockwave

Lasting Areas:

  • Few mental and energy examples
  • Lack: Physical
  • Candidates: Empowered Shockwave, Seismic Slam

Rogue Signature Talents change to give one more option.

Signature without any talent would deal all 3 types of dmg.
Each talent would change the signature to one of 3 types and give it some flavour like spirit regen or crit chance.
